Perched on the water’s edge in Simonstown Harbour is this classic seafood restaurant, which was established in 1993. With typical nautical decor (the harbour is home of the SA Navy) and lots of historical memorabilia, Bertha’s serves up a variety of fresh linefish, shellfish, oysters, calamari, fish curry, fish cakes and their signature seafood platters. It’s the perfect spot on a sunny day to sip a glass of wine while tucking into a pile of prawns and the kids busy themselves the in the children’s play area.
