The Iziko South African National Gallery is the national art gallery of South Africa. It became a part of the Iziko collection of museums – as managed by the Department of Arts and Culture – in 2001. The South African National Gallery is just a short walk from the South African Museum and is the country’s premier art museum housing outstanding collections of South African, African, British, French, Dutch and Flemish art.
